Project Overview
Implementing Te Mana o te Wai across Te Tauihu required councils and iwi to work together on a shared approach to freshwater planning and future policy development.
The programme brought together Tasman District Council, Nelson City Council, Marlborough District Council, Te Tauihu iwi, and Ngāti Waewae to review regional planning instruments and consider how updated national freshwater direction would be reflected in planning frameworks across the region.
Our role included providing planning advice, developing policy, facilitating, and engaging throughout the programme.
